Caring for a Ceramic coated vehicle

Caring for Your Ceramic Coating

Your ceramic coating is designed to protect your vehicle and make it easier to maintain. To keep it performing at its best, here are some simple care guidelines.

Regular Washing
Wash your vehicle every one to two weeks. Use a pH-neutral car shampoo, the two-bucket method, and high-quality microfiber wash mitts and drying towels. This helps avoid scratches and swirl marks.

What to Avoid
Do not use harsh cleaners, degreasers, or household soaps. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes, as they can damage the coating. Never wipe dirt or dust off a dry surface.

Maintaining Performance
Dry the vehicle thoroughly after each wash to prevent water spots. For added gloss and hydrophobic protection, apply a ceramic-safe spray sealant every two to three months. Consider a decontamination wash every six to twelve months if you notice a decline in performance.

Storage and Care
Whenever possible, park in shaded or covered areas to reduce UV exposure. Remove bird droppings, bug splatter, or tree sap as soon as possible to prevent staining or etching.

By following these steps, your ceramic coating will stay glossy, hydrophobic, and protective for years to come.
